<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for treating organic substances having improved maintenance properties. SOLUTION: In the apparatus having a treatment tank 1 which is placed in an outer case 2, houses a carrier for microorganisms for decomposing organic substances, and decomposes the charged organic substances such as garbage, an agitation body agitating/mixing the carrier and the organic substances in the tank 1, a driving mechanism 13 which transmits the rotation of a motor 14 for agitation to be a driving source of the agitation body to the agitation body to drive it, a heater 30 for heating the tank 1, an exhaust/deodorization mechanism (a deodorization device 60, a dilution fan 68) for heat-deodorizing/ discharging exhaust gas from the tank 1, and a control substrate 20 on which control means for controlling a motor 15 for agitation, the heater 30, the mechanism (60, 68), and the like, is mounted, the driving mechanism 13, the mechanism (60, 68), and the substrate 20 are arranged on one side (back) of the tank 1.</p> |
