PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the size of the outer shape of the book receiving stand of a book reading stand compact, to ensure fitting of a book and to facilitate the adjustment of the strength of a pressure for page pressing. SOLUTION: Two page pressing tools 13 are respectively fitted so as to be freely taken in and out and rotated and held on a page pressing tool fitting tools 22 each with a finger hooking tool 70 provided on the both left and right sides of the book reading stand. The above described page pressing tool fitting tools 22 are provided so as to be freely slid and fixed in the left and right transverse directions. On the central ground side of the book reading stand, a pin 60 with a screw is provided so as to be freely up and down slid and fixed on a fixed ground side stopper 56. In addition, a top side sliding stopper 57 being freely forward and backward slid and fixed is provided on the top side. On the back end standing part of the top side sliding stopper 57, the pin 60 with screw is fitted so as to be freely up and down slid and fixed.
