<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new solvent which is useful for plastic wastes, is used in recycle systems for easily recovering and again using plastic wastes such as foamed polystyrene, can dissolve the plastic wastes to reduce their volumes and facilitate their carriage, and enables the recycling of the recovered plastic wastes. SOLUTION: This solvent for plastic wastes, is characterized by using a mixed solvent comprising methylene chloride and a 1 to 6C aliphatic alcohol, and the solvent for plastic wastes, is characterized in that the weight ratio of the methylene chloride to the 1 to 6C aliphatic alcohol is 1:1 to 4:1.</p> |
