PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent which effectively removes a biologically caused stain adhered to not only a smooth surface but also an uneven surface without generating a harmful material or an environment-polluting material. SOLUTION: The detergent comprises particles comprising a mixture of internally bundled calcium hydroxide particles with calcium silicate hydrate particles or of the calcium hydroxide particles adhered to surfaces of the calcium silicate hydrate particles, a specific surface area of the mixture being >=50m2/g.
