PURPOSE: To provide a facsimile equipment capable of executing sure reception, while reducing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A CPU 3 starts to receive and stores received image information in an image information memory 10, when it has a prescribed or more free capacity and incoming is obtained. Then, the CPU 3 compares an estimated time until the image information memory 10 is full of the received image information after reception is started, with a heating time required for heating a thermal fixing part 7a to a fixable temperature, to inhibit reception processing until it is decided that the estimated time is longer than the heating time and starts to receive and stores the received image information in the memory 10, when the estimated time is longer than the heating time and the incoming is obtained. Further, the CPU 3 record-outputs the received image information in the memory 10 when the thermal fixing part 7a is heated to the fixable temp. and stops the heating of the thermal fixing part 7a when the record-output is completed or when the incoming is not obtained for a specified time, even if the thermal fixing part 7a is heated to the fixable temp. |
