PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce disturbance by channels 6-10 in the case of receiving channels 1-3 and to reduce transmission loss due to a trap circuit in the case of receiving channels other than the above channels. SOLUTION: An input circuit for a television tuner is provided with a tuning circuit 3 that is switched to be tuned to a 1st frequency band including channels 1 to 3 or a 2nd frequency band including channels 6 to 10, and a 1st trap circuit 4 and a 2nd trap circuit 5. When the tuning circuit 3 is tuned to the channels 1 to 3, the trap frequency of the 1st trap circuit 4 is set to the 1st frequency within the first frequency band between the channels 6 to 10 and the trap frequency of the 2nd trap circuit 5 is set, apart from the 1st frequency, to the 2nd frequency within the frequency band between the channels 6-10.
