PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for setting according to place of destination capable of easily and surely setting with respect to image forming apparatuses having a plurality of places of destination, such as a copying machine and a printer according to their places of destination. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a power source means for supplying an electric power to an image forming device, a power source characteristic detecting means for detecting at least either of a voltage supplied by the power source means or a frequency, a decision means for deciding a destination corresponding to the voltage or frequency on the basis of a detection result in the power source characteristic detecting means, and a control parameter setting means for setting a control parameter corresponding to the destination on the basis of a decision result in the decision means. The destination setting means 40 functions by the operation of a control part 43 which acquires data from a voltage/frequency detecting part 42 and a destination information table 45, and then operates on the basis of a sequence table stored in a memory or the like. |
