PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry type block capable of simply changing and fixing the position of a car stop. SOLUTION: The dry type block has a main body 1 placed on a ground GL and the car stop 1a installed onto the top face 1a of the main body, the main body has a projecting section 2 extended along the progressive direction of a car at at least one side end section of the top face, on which a tire T travels, and used as a guide for the tire, and has supporting legs 4 set up to an underside 1b at an internal S, reinforcing ribs 5 continued to the supporting legs and preformed resin molded forms 6 fitted to the supporting legs and the reinforcing ribs, the supporting legs and the resin molded forms have abutting surfaces 4a, 6a against the ground, mounting sections 3 for the cat stop are secured along the progressive direction of the car on the top face of the main body, the car stop has a drum section 11 crossed at right angles in the progressive direction of the car and abutted against the top face of the main body and arm sections 12, 13 being extended in the longitudinal direction of the drum section and reaching the top face of the projecting section, and a section to be mounted 14 formed to the drum section is fixed onto the mounting section of the main body.
