PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring object fixing apparatus for transmission illumination capable of sucking and fixing a sheetlike measuring object and a perforated measuring object easy to generate deformation, warpage or the like in an extremely flat state without generating bending. SOLUTION: The measuring object fixing apparatus for transmission illumination is constituted by arranging a lower surface plate 4, for example, made of glass transmitting light on a surface illumination plate 6 being a light source of transmission illumination, bonding a suction block 3 being a frame body having a suction port (exhaust port 5) formed to the side part thereof to the upper surface of the plate 4, and further arranging a porous plate 1 comprising a porous material sucking and fixing a measuring object on the surface thereof on the block 3. A suction chamber 2 is formed of the porous plate 1, the suction block 3 and the lower surface plate 4. When the suction chamber 2 is evacuated, the open air is sucked through the whole surface of the porous plate comprising a sintered object and the measuring object is sucked. Since the light emitted from the surface illumination plate 6 is diffused by the porous plate 1, the measuring object is illuminated by the light uniform in quantity in the plate of the porous plate 2.
