PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval and display system which makes it easy to intuitively understand plural attributes. SOLUTION: A storage device 4 stores pieces of object data of retrieval including geographical attributes. A controller 8 performs retrieval based upon retrieval input data inputted from an input device 6 to extract corresponding data as retrieval result data from pieces of object data of retrieval stored in the storage device 4. The controller 8 computes virtual position relation between a specific reference position and the retrieval result data by combining geographical attributes of the extracted retrieval result data and the usefulness of the retrieval result data. The controller 8 generates display data for displaying the computed virtual position relation as a virtual map. A display device 10 displays the virtual map according to the display data generated by the controller 8. Plural properties can, therefore, be virtually grasped.
