PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facsimile equipment with high convenience, which can automatically set a country code by setting the country code, based on information received from a computer device. SOLUTION: A computer I/F control part 15 is arranged and information is transmitted/received with an outer computer 40 through a line 41. A CPU 11 discriminates information received from the computer 40 through the computer I/F control part 15. When information is the country code, the country code is set. When received information is OS information, the country code of a country specified by OS information is set.
