PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can save power through power supply to its internal circuits as a required minimum power. SOLUTION: A power supply start signal from a power supply section 30 by a power-saving control CPU 10 is independently used to supply power to a main control section 22, an engine section 23 and a scanner section 21. A power supply section 30 is stated upon the supply of an AC power independently of the start signal. The power supply start signal from the power-saving control CPU 10 can individually turn on/off a power supply unit (PSU1) 24 that supplies power to the power-saving control CPU 10, a power supply unit (PSU2) 25 that supplies power to the main control section 22, a power supply unit (PSU3) 26 that supplies power to the scanner section 21, and a power supply unit (PSU4) 27 that supplies power to the engine section 23. |
