<p>A semiconductor laser module in which the optical output power is high, kink in current-optical output power characteristic is suppressed, and a laser beam of narrow spectral line width is outputted, and a high-power pumping light source using the laser beam that is wavelength-division-muliplexed are provided. The semiconductor laser module comprises a Fabry-Perot semiconductor laser element having a cavity length of 1800 µm or larger and a fibergrating optically coupled to the semiconductor laser element, wherein the reflection bandwidth of the fibergrating is 3 nm or smaller and is larger than the wavelength interval of the longitudinal mode of the oscillation laser beam from the semiconductor laser element.</p> |
