METHOD FOR SEPARATING ISOMER OF ALICYCLIC DICARBOXYLIC ACIDS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating isomers of the carboxylic acid obtained by hydrolyzing an alicyclic nitrile by using water. SOLUTION: The isomers are separated by utilizing the difference of solubilities of position isomers and stereoisomers in water, and by using a method such as a recrystallization method and an extraction method.
