PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft of a butterfly valve device preventing increase in rotating resistance between the shaft and a bearing part by absorbing the dispersion even if the dispersion larger than a margin previously set between the outer circumferential surface of the shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the bearing part is produced between them, and decreasing the dimensional change in the length direction of the shaft. SOLUTION: A shaft 13 and a shaft 13' are connected through a coil spring 14, and a first guide part having the outer diameter smaller than the inner diameter of the coil spring 14 and second guide parts 13a, 13'a having the inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the coil spring 14 are extended in the axial direction from the end surface of the shaft 13'.
