PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal display panel having a structure in which an interlayer insulating film above a common electrode is selectively patterned to form a through hole without damaging an ITO film to be formed into the common electrode, and the common electrode and a common lead electrode are directly connected. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel has a polycrystalline indium tin oxide film 106' having a cubic bixbyite type crystal structure formed on the substrate 101, and has an insulating film 107 having a plurality of through holes disposed on the polycrystalline indium tin oxide film.
