PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latch unit capable of easily completing the work for earthing of the latch itself to be used for fixing a deflection yoke, magnet assembly, etc., to a CRT(cathode-ray tube). SOLUTION: The latch unit comprises a neck tightening band (9a) to tighten round and fix to the CRT the deflection yoke and other parts to be mounted on the funnel or a neck of the CRT, and terminal setting tips (9d and 9e) to insert a flat terminal (11) into at least one of the paired screw setting parts (9b and 9c).
