<p>The invention concerns roof batten spacer for safely and rapidly compose a roof core, consisting of two interchangeable adjusting screws (7, 8) for adjusting the gauge between two battens (1, 2) on a roof. The screw adjustment (7) or (8) is locked by the knurled locknut (6), the screw shoulder (7) or (8) is supported on the base batten (1). The user exerts a quarter turn on the threaded ring (4) which presses the lath (2) to be nailed on the top of the jaw (11) of the body (3). The process is to be repeated at each rafter intersection (12). The transfer rod (9) is locked into the body orifice (10), presenting the alignment in the left or right valley gutter.</p> |
