PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair dryer capable of minimizing the loss of wind energy and setting and drying hair well by increasing wind velocity while inhibiting a decrease in amount of wind by means of a nozzle at an air outlet. SOLUTION: The hair dryer A has a fan 4, a motor 5, an airflow- straightening vane 6 and a heater part 7, all inside a housing 3 having an air outlet 1 and an air inlet 2 therein. The nozzle 8 at the air outlet 1 comprises an inner nozzle 10 and an outer nozzle 9. The inner nozzle 10 is formed with an inclined part 10e which is inclined toward a nozzle center axis x from the upstream side to the downstream side and a parallel part 10f whose cross-sectional shape is formed to be approximately parallel to the nozzle center axis x downstream of the inclined part 10e.
