PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire air pressure drop warning method capable of improving detection accuracy of reduction in a tire pressure. SOLUTION: In this tire air pressure drop warning method, the numbers of revolutions of four tires are detected, and on the basis of the detected numbers of revolutions, it is determined whether the air pressure of the tire is lowered or not, and if the tire internal pressure is lowered, an alarm is given. A determination value for detecting a tire pressure drop is computed by comparing differences of two diagonal sums with each other in an actual traveling time of a vehicle whose tires are set at a predetermined air pressure, and from the actually measured determination value, a correction factor function value consisting of a first factor related to the lateral acceleration of the vehicle and a second factor related to the lateral acceleration and a front and rear wheel ratio is subtracted, and the first and the second factors becoming zero approximately are computed so as to be stored.
