PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of crushing and/or kneading solids by using a dispersing medium free from the problem of the depletion of ozone layer or of the generation of greenhouse effect gas, noninflammable, high in stability, rarely imposing problems of the pressure tightness on a device, excellent in drying property and suitable even for water-soluble solids. SOLUTION: Solids are crushed and/or kneaded in the pressure of the dispersing medium containing alkoxy nona-fluorobutane having a 1-2C alkoxy group.
