PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bubble generating bathtub by which the break of various electronic parts constituting a controller and deterioration in its life are suppressed. SOLUTION: When the operation start of the bathtub is indicated to a control microcomputer 32, the microcomputer 32 outputs a control command C1 for driving a motor M to a phase control circuit 29. Then the control command C1 outputted in this case is controlled by the microcomputer 32 to permit an operation rated voltage to be gradually applied to the motor M. That is, the microcomputer 32 outputs the control command C1 concerning the lowest voltage by which a driving base board 33 is driven, and then, outputs the control command C1 to apply voltage to the motor M step by step till the operation rated voltage is applied. A high rush current is prevented from flowing in a power source board 31 for constituting the controller 18 or the driving base board 33 in the case of starting.
