PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gray-colored 18-carat gold alloy which has not been obtained heretofore. SOLUTION: This alloy essentially consists of gold and contains by weight, 15 to 25% palladium and 0 to 10% platinum so that the total content of palladium and platinum is >=18%, or the alloy essentially consists of gold, contains 15 to 24.9% palladium and 0 to 10% platinum so that the total content of palladium and platinum is >=18% and contains one or more kinds of 0.1 to 3.0% zinc, 0.1 to 3.0% indium, 0.1 to 3.0% tin, 0.1 to 5.0% silver and 0.1 to 5.0% copper.
