PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire capable of increasing bead unseating resistance, while reducing the weight and holding high-speed durability. SOLUTION: A tread part 16 provides the in-plane bending rigidity by an inclined belt layer 20A arranged with a steel cord 19 slantly extending relative to a tire equator face CL so as to endure a lateral force in cornering. The tread part 16 provides the circumferential rigidity by a circumferential belt layer 20B arranged with an organic fiber cord 21 substantially in parallel to the tire equator face CL so as to secure the internal pressure and provide the high high-speed durability. A reinforcing layer 22 including the organic fiber cord is provided along a winding-up part 14B of the carcass 14 so that the lateral rigidity of the tire side part is increased, the bead unseating resistance can be increased, and the bead part 11 can be surely held to the rim in acting a large lateral force thereto.
