PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent that the closure of the cover body of a washing machine from being erroneously detected as it is closed by mistake even by an incorrect operation. SOLUTION: In a lock lever 32 which rotates accompanying the closure of a cover body and turns on a detection switch 40 for opening/closing the cover, the width of a second projection piece 323 being in contact with the hanging piece of the cover body is made nearly equal to the width of a first projection piece 322 for lock of the upper part, and made extremly narrower than the width of the insertion hole 1a. The upper edge of the second projecting piece 323 is made round. The first basal part 32a positioned at the lower part of the second projecting piece 323 is formed to have a shape largely inclined forward. In this way, it is made difficult to push down the second projecting piece 323 and the first basal part 32A by a tapered off bar body and the lock lever 32 is made unrotatable.
