A combined insulating sheet assembly for building industry and construction uses comprises a fibrous ''fleece'' layer allied to a polymer coating or foil layer. The fibrous fleece layer is prepared by needle felting fibres of polypropylene, polyethylene, natural fibres, glass or a mixture of fibres. The combination may be reinforced by sewing. One or both sides of the fleece layer may be melted by heat treatment. (A) A 20-100 g/m2 wt. polymer coating layer is applied to one or both sides of the fleece. The coating layer preferably contains metallic pigments and other optional additives. The coating is based on polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, polyester or polycarbonate. (B) One or both surfaces of the fleece layer may carry optionally a perforated and metal coated or alternatively a metal layer containing polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC, polyester or polycarbonate smooth or air-cushioned foil. |
