PURPOSE: Provided is a method for storing and maintaining turnip in the same state as harvest time for a long time, by which the turnip can be used every places in all seasons. CONSTITUTION: The method for storing the turnip comprises the steps of: preserving the turnip in a 10-30% saline solution for at least 20 days, preferably around 30 days; cleaning the turnip; preserving the turnip in a 10-20% saline solution for at least 1 day and cleaning; sterilizing and cleaning the turnip in water of 70-100deg.C for 10-30 minutes; vacuum-packing the turnip.
