PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a heat exchanger used for air-conditioning an automobile. SOLUTION: One heat exchanger is constituted by thermally integrating a heat exchanger for cooling and another heat exchanger for heating via a heat pipe. The supply air temperature of the heat exchanger is controlled through the adjustment of the adding mount of heat to air by controlling the amount of engine cooling water supplied to the heat exchanger for heating.
