PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-proof reinforcing fitting that strides between building structure materials that are crossed and joined, and allows a wooden building to be subjected to earthquake-proof reinforcement so that the wooden building does not collapse even if strong vibration is applied to the wooden building by earthquakes, typhoons, or the like. SOLUTION: This earthquake-proof reinforcing fitting 1 is composed by a steel material 1-1 that strides between building structure materials A-1 and A-2 that cross each other, a square fixing part 11 where a bolt-tightening hole 111 and a nailing hole 112 are punched is provided at both the ends of the steel material 1-1, at the same time, the middle center part of the steel material 1-1 is expanded to the inside or the outside for forming a cushion round 12, and the fixing part 11 is stuck to both the building structure materials A-1 and A-2. The bolt-tightening hole 111 is punched in the direction of one diagonal line (x) of the square fixing part 11, and at the same time the nailing hole 112 is punched in the direction of the other (y).
