PURPOSE: A cutting edge part manufacturing method for a cutting tool for machining a piston ball seat of a vehicle compressor is provided to simplify the manufacture of a cutting edge part, thereby achieving the mass production of the cutting edge with precise dimensions. CONSTITUTION: A cutting edge part manufacturing method for a cutting tool for machining a piston ball seat of a vehicle compressor includes the steps of forming a circular hole of a predetermined size at the center of a polycrystalline diamond(PCD;1) and cutting the PCD to have a circular shape with the outer diameter of a predetermined size, the PCD having a predetermined thickness and a predetermined width and being coupled with a solid carbide edge(2) on a rear surface, inserting the cut PCD in an abrasion jig and fixing by welding, the abrasion jig having a rotation element formed with grooves on both sides and penetrating the hole of the PCD, carrying out abrasion with respect to the PCD to have a predetermined taper with diamond stone coupled with first and second center jigs to rotate in the grooves of the abrasion jig and having a predetermined tilt angle(alpha), cutting the PCD with a certain size to have a semicircular shape in contact with the holes after separating the PCD from the abrasion jig, and forming a chamfer on a cut surface on the rear upper surface of the PCD.
