PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small feed mechanism by which a cable with a float can be fed stably and surely. SOLUTION: In the feed device, an inspection probe 1 is provided at its tip, and the cable 2 to which plural floats 10 are attached at prescribed intervals in inserted into, or pulled out from a pipe 3, to be inspected by means of a pressure fluid. Grooved flexible bodies 12, 14, which are used to grip the cable 2 are faced with a pair of crawlers 9a, 9b, which are constituted freely rotatably. The respective crawlers 9a, 9b are provided with rectilinear float gripping parts, which can always grip at least the plurality of floats 10. Drive parts 19, 20, 21 which turn the pair of crawlers 9a, 9b are installed synchronously.
