SIMULATION PARTIAL DISCHARGE SIGNAL GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation partial discharge signal generator capable of being easily mounted on an object to be measured and confirming functions of various kinds of partial discharge detectors in an easy way. SOLUTION: A relay part 6 is connected to a power source 1 in series in such a way to have a mechanical contact point 16 and generates signals containing high frequency by turning on and off the mechanical contact point continuously when a commercial frequency synchronous generating part 3 generates a synchronizing signal. An electromagnetic wave of the high frequency is outputted from an electromagnetic wave output part 7. When a partial discharge detector detects the electromagnetic wave is generated by partial discharge, the partial discharge detector is judged as performing its fundamental function.
