The room heating system comprises a floor- or wall-heating circuit and a heater supply circuit. A valve is used to control both circuits. This has an inlet (14) from the boiler, a channel (16a) connected to the floor heating circuit and a second channel (16b) connected to the heater supply circuit. Separate seals (18, 20) allow the circuits to be closed independently.
