The present invention discloses compositions comprising podophyllotoxins, analogs thereof, or derivatives thereof, and a surfactant. The invention also discloses a podophyllotoxin composition further comprising a targeting moiety. The present invention also discloses a method of delivering a podophyllotoxin, an analog thereof or a derivative thereof, to a cell by administering the described podophyllotoxin compositions. Further, the present invention discloses a method of making the podophyllotoxin compositions.
