PURPOSE: An ultraviolet ozone generator by photochemical reaction is provided which is characterized in that ultraviolet rays are irradiated to O2 molecule removing impurities and N2. Accordingly, the generated ozone has no harmful remains and is easily soluble in water so that it is applied to the fields of health, environment and sanitation. CONSTITUTION: The generator comprising air-inflow part and O3-generating part is characterized in that the air cleaned through an air-purifying filter(2), moisture-removing system(3), and N2-removing system(4) is sucked into an inlet(5), then dissociated to O atom by ultraviolet rays irradiated with 150-500nanometer of frequency from a lamp(6). The dissociated O atom binds to O2 molecule to generate O3 gas, which is expressed by the following formula: O2 --> O + O, O2 + O --> O3.
