PURPOSE: A method for applying reverse voltage to an electrolyzed water manufacturing equipment is provided, which can reduce the changing value of pH load and so extend the life cycle of a polar plate by the reverse voltage applying method and the phase difference of time given to at least two electrolytic cells. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises as follows: (i) a normal step to apply static voltage to a cathode; (ii) a transient step in which the voltage applied to the cathode changes; and (iii) a negative-phase step to apply reverse voltage to the cathode.
