The window pane (7) is held by a two-part elastic guide rail (1,2) with outer sealing profile (1) and inner sealing profile (2). The inner sealing profile (2) can be inserted by a clip nose sealing lip (11) supported on the door plate (6) into a free space between the door plate (6) and angled vane (10) on the outer sealing profile and can be locked on the latter. The outer sealing profile and inner sealing profile have a profiled section with increased inherent stiffness at least in the area of their common U-shaped region which holds the edge of the window pane (7). The vane of the outer profile adjoining the door panel and directed inwards to the vehicle has on its side remote from the edge of the window pane a projecting circumferential clip edge (12) which can be engaged by a complementary clip channel (17) formed as part of the clip nose on the inner sealing profile.
