<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball wherein repulsion characteristics can be improved without injuring a feel of hitting ball. SOLUTION: The golf ball consists of a core comprising a portion composed of a vulcanized rubber and a cover of one or more layers covering the core. The vulcanized rubber comprises a base rubber and a vulcanized rubber composition containing anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid whereinαposition and/orβposition is halogen substituted and/or a metal salt thereof. It is preferable that 15-45 parts by massα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid whereinαposition and/orβposition is halogen substituted and/or a metal salt is contained per 100 parts by mass base rubber.</p> |
