PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct efficient dephosphorizing treatment by uniformly spreading a fluidized bed or appropriately controlling the pH in the fluidized bed in a dephosphorizing device for removing the phosphorus in phosphorus-containing waste water by a fluidized bed type crystallizing method. SOLUTION: This dephosphorizing device has a reaction tower 4 in which an introducing port for the phosphorus-containing waste water is provided at the lower part of the tower, a discharge port for treated water is provided at the upper part of the tower and the fluidized bed 5 of a phosphorus adsorbing material containing calcium phosphate is formed in the tower, and the phosphorus in the waste water introduced from the introducing port is removed as the calcium phosphate crystal by adding a calcium compound and/or an alkali agent in the reaction tower 4. The dephosphorizing device has a distributor 6 for uniformly introducing the waste water introduced from the introducing port at the lower part of the fluidized bed 5 and the device has a pressing plate 7 for suppressing the spreading of the fluidized bed 5 at the upper part of the fluidized bed 5. The dephosphorizing device has a chemical agent adding means 15 for supplying the calcium compound and/or the alkali agent into the fluidized bed 5, and a supply port 15A of the adding means 15 is provided vertically movably in the fluidized bed 5.
