摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the addition amount of a flocculant to the optimum range and to prevent the generation of trouble such as a side leak phenomenon, or the like, while minimizing the use amount of a flocculant to reduce sludge treatment cost in a dehydration apparatus having a gravitational dehydration part. SOLUTION: In a dehydration control method of a dehydration apparatus having a gravitational dehydration part for filtering and dehydrating supplied sludge substantially under gravity, the correlation between the filtrate amount or the amount correlated therewith (a) in the gravitational dehydration part detected by a filtrate amount detection means and the addition ratio (b) of a flocculant to sludge is preliminarily calculated correspondingly to the kind of sludge and the upper and lower limit range of at least one of the filtrate amount or the amount correlated therewith (a) and the addition ratio (b) of the flocculant to sludge in the correlation is set and at least one of the supply amount of sludge and the addition amount of the flocculant is controlled so as to enter the upper and lower limit range.
