PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a seat belt with a rotation of a reel shaft surely checked by surely engaging both between a first engaged part and a first engaging part and a second engaged part and a second engaging part with a lock adjusting means. CONSTITUTION:In braking suddenly, etc., as the first stage, an inertia ball 7a of a deceleration sensing means 7 moves forward, an actuator 7c is rotated upward, and a locking nail 7e comes to an engaging position. On the other hand, an occupant in a vehicle begins to move forward due to deceleration, therefore a webbing 3 is drawn out and a reel shaft 4 and a lock gear 13 are rotated in the drawn-out direction. However, teeth 13c of a lock gear 13 engage with the locking nail 7e, stopping the rotation of the lock gear 13. As a result, the lock gear 13 makes a relative rotation in a B direction against the reel shaft 4, therefore a main pole 19 and a back up pole 22 are rotated as the second stage to engage with tooth 20a and tooth 2f respectively. Thus the rotation of the reel shaft 4 is checked, and the occupant in the vehicle can surely be restrained. |
