PURPOSE: A program information display method of digital TV is provided to inform a user of an HD(High Definition) program like movie or sports by guiding a mixed SD(Standard Definition)/HD program in a guide of each broadcasting station which guides one VCT(Virtual Channel Table) at once. CONSTITUTION: The first process(S11) judges whether or not an HD broadcasting exists in a latest logical channel within a guide time on one screen. The second process(S12) judges an HD/SD program ratio within a guide time on a current screen in a current physical transmission channel in case the HD broadcasting exists. The third process(S13) displays an HD program guide through an existing VCT guide channel in case the HD broadcasting doesn't exist or the HD/SD program ratio is under a constant ratio. The fourth process(S14) guides an HD program in the latest logical channel in case the HD/SD program ratio is over the constant ratio, and displays the HD program guide through the selected logical channel.
