PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk changer device capable of surely detecting the incomplete insertion of a disk cartridge. SOLUTION: A stocker is provided with a lever 14, this lever is supported to move up and down along a strut 15, and made rotatable to a standby position for opening and a driving position for closing in each of the insertion ports of shelves 32 of each stage, a pressing part 32c is provided in an arm member rotated interlocking with the lever, the pressing part detects a standby or driving position by turning ON/OFF a detection switch 34 and, when a disk cartridge 51 is inserted into a stocker, the lever is disposed in the standby position. When the disk cartridge is normally inserted into the stocker, the lever is rotated to the driving position, and the pressing part is allowed to operate the detection switch. When the insertion of the disk cartridge is incomplete, the lever is blocked by the disk cartridge, disabling the pressing part to operate the detection switch, and then the incomplete insertion state of the disk cartridge is detected.
