PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device whose reliability and color reproducibility are high. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pixel structure in which an FET for switching 201 and an FET for current control 202 are formed on a single crystal semiconductor substrate 11 and an EL(electroluminescent) element 203 is connected electrically to the FET for current control 202. Since the variation of characteristics among pixels of FETs 202 is extremely small, a picture having high color reproducibilty can be obtained in this device. Moreover, the electronic device whose reliability is high is obtained by applying a hot carrier measure to the FET 202.
