<p>A termination device for terminating a flexible flat tension member includes a socket and two opposing wedges mounted therein. One of the wedges is preferably pinned within the socket while the other wedge is removable. The invention provides a reliable termination with a safety backup to retain the tension member even if friction in the device is reduced due to soiling with a friction reducing material.</p> |
