PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music playing device which makes it easy to indicate the start and stop of the generation of an electronic sound and indicate the start, stop, etc., of a setting, changing, and muting function for respective parameters. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with keys 1, strings 4, string hitting mechanisms (2, 3, and 4) which hit strings 4 in response to the operation of the keys 1, an electronic musical sound generation part 25 which generates an electronic sound in response to the operation of the keys 1 or according to musical performance data in a storage device 29, a servo controller 12 which drives the string hitting mechanisms under the control of a controller 11 according to musical performance data, a microphone 51 which inputs voice, a voice recognition device 30 which recognizes the inputted voice, and the controller 11 which controls the electronic sound generation part 25 and servo controller 12 according to the voice recognition result. |
