PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor where a void, a boundary or the like does not occur easily even when filter processing for sharpening a density is performed. SOLUTION: Differential filter processing for sharpening a density is performed to each picture element in picture data based on the density level difference between the picture element and its surrounding picture element. When the density value of the picture element under consideration I0 in the middle of processing becomes lower than the density value before filter processing, the density value of the picture element under consideration I0 is corrected like density correction 1 based on these density value before/after filtering processing. |
