<p>Thermal transfer tape has a wax bonded layer of thermal transfer ink containing a wax soluble polymer and a release layer containing 20 wt.% wax insoluble polymer with wax plasticising properties and a glass temperature (Tg) = -30 to +70 degrees C. Thermal transfer tape comprises: (1) a conventional base; (2) a wax bonded release layer, containing 20 (3-8) wt.% wax insoluble polymer with wax plasticising properties and a glass temperature (Tg) = -30 to +70 degrees C; and (3) wax bonded layer of thermal transfer ink, containing a wax soluble polymer.</p> |
