PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for particularly restraining uneven abrasion caused in a shoulder side land part. SOLUTION: The whole belt layer 20 is covered with a first belt reinforcing layer 22A including organic fiber cords for substantially setting the cord direction in the tire circumferential direction, and both end part vicinity of the belt layer 20 is covered with a second belt reinforcing layer 22B. The belt layer 20 of an area on the tire width directional inside more than the second belt reinforcing layer 22B is diametrally reduced by an auxiliary rubber layer 34 so that an outer diameter of a second belt reinforcing layer 22B-existing area becomes relatively larger than the periphery to restrain shearing force of the second belt reinforcing layer 22B-existing area to restrain abrasion of this area.
