PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin acoustical panel having excellent sound absorbing performance in spite of a thin type. SOLUTION: A sound absorbing material 4 is finished interiorly into a hollow body 3 formed of a front section 1 with a large number of opening sections 11 and a rear section 2 having sound insulating properties, the sound absorbing material 4 is formed of an organic plastic fiber material, the thickness size (a) of the sound absorbing material 4 is set in 18-45 mm, and a rear air layer 5 having depth size (b) of 5-40 mm is formed between the rear section 2 and the sound absorbing material 4 while the thickness size (c) of the hollow body 3 is set in 25-60 mm.
